I miscarried in Sept. and am finally pregnant again. I'm in my 7th week and scared to death. I didn't know I miscarried until my 1st ultrasound when there was no heartbeat. Help Me!!!!!

I'm so sorry for your loss, I think in your position I would be frantic, too! But Tamsin is right, you need to relax and focus your energy into positive thoughts. Worrying won't help. Your doctor will probably order an early ultrasound that will hopefully aleve some stress. In the meantime, try to find distractions. Friends and family should be able to help. Ask for help if you need to, I think most people will understand, but some may be reluctant to offer in fear of bringing up such a recent hurt. Or they may just think that you are overjoyed about the new pregancy and not realize how worried you are.

I'm not an extremely religious person, but a friend of mine once had a miscarriage and she rationalized it by telling herself that something changed in the world and her baby was needed elsewhere at the moment. I really liked that explanation.

It's me Ali, Thank you both for responding to my message.I woke up this morning with horrible pains in my lower abdomen. I called my doctor and she said not to worry if I wasn't bleeding. But when I miscarried in Sept. I didn't bleed either. I have to wait two weeks for an ultrasound. I don't know what I'll do if I lose another baby. All I want to do is cry, I hide everything from everyone, partly because hardly anyone knows I'm pregnant and the other is that I don't want people to go through it all again either. I feel like I have noone to talk to. I truly do believe there was another purpose for the child I lost. I know they are with my grandmother who I also recently lost and she is taking good care of my baby. But I don't know any other reasons why I would lose another baby. I know I'm being negative, I just never thought any of this would ever happen to me. All I'm asking for is prayers, please from everyone. I know you don't even know me, but I do appreciate your time.
