im due to have my 4th baby in 7 weeks my 3rd babies labour lasted an hour and was great but people keep tellin me the 4th is as bad as the 1st.i had a long hard time with my 1st so im getting worried. does anybody no if this is true?

i don't think so i think it is different per person and per child

my mother in law has 6 children and she said her 4,5 were pretty good and 6 good considering she was 41 at the time of her 6th.

i have one child and he is my first and he was so easy and i had him all natural!!! so easy pushed 3 short pushes and he was there and labor pain was nothing to me of course everyone also has a different level of pain tolerance
why does everyone always say your first is so hard?

anywho i think there is nothing to worry about. you will never know till you get there. everyone is different

hi first of all congratulations! i am a mother of 4 and let me tell u i was as worried as u about the birth with my 2nd 3rd and 4th! i understand wot u mean about a hard time 1st labour my 1st was awful but i think this is because we dont no wot 2 xpect.even tho it lasted 32 hrs and ended up stirrup n vontose. my 2nd was 21 hrs 3rd was 3 hrs n 4th was 6 hrs so i think its fair to say evri labour is different but cant b as long or hard as the 1st. hope this eases ure mind and goodluck its all worth it however long and hard
