Hi everyone! I'm expecting twins in June (I already have two twins who are two, my hands will be so full!) A boy and a girl (Just like last time!!!) and I really need some names.

My twins Dylan James Harris and Shiloh Blake Harris names have very important meaning to me (Dylan was my best friend who passed away a week before my due date and Shiloh was my grandma's name) so I need something equally significant.

For the boy I like:
Rydan (My two deceased brother's names were Ryan and Brendan and this is a mash of their names)
Micah (My dad's name, who also died last month)
Noah (My husband's fathers name, who is in a coma)
I adore them all

For the girl we like:
Carmela (My grandmother on my mother's side)
Cheyenne (The tribe my ancestors are, I'm half navajo and cheyenne on my mom's side and Greek and mexican on my fathers side)
Marisol (My mama's name and my middle name)
Claire (Just a fave of mine)
and Serena (My other Bff who's fighting in iraq)

Middle name suggestions are welcome!! Thanks for the help

Obviously family names are very important to you so stick with that.
Its really beautiful to name after family its special.
I think the name Micah is very nice after your father as well.
For the girl you can choose one thats meaningful from the family and then the middle name can be from the time of year their born like the season or the month.

I really like Rydan for a boy and Marisol Claire or Carmela Claire for a girl. Not sure on Boy middle names. Good Luck. Two sets of twins .

Rydan Noah and Micahlea Serene
Or
Rydan Micah and Chenoah (Cheyenne + Noah) Marisol.

Stick to names that mean something, not just those you like. Think about when your kids grow up and learn just how the people that influenced your lives so strongly have contributed to their lives.

You have some very nice REAL names in this list (MICAH, MARISOL, NOAH, CLAIRE, SERENA). And I love your desire to give names with family meaning. Good for you! How about Micah Noah and Marisol Serena.

You might also consider honor loved ones by using their initials instead of the name. You could find an M name for Micah ("Mitchell" or "Marcus" or "Miles" and an N name for Noah ("Nathan" or "Nicholas" or "Nathaniel". Just a thought.

I am sure that the poster KIM was well-intentioned, but her suggestion to wildly invent names out of the perfectly good names you had on you list is bad avice. Micahlea and Chenoah are BAD ideas!!!
